Ingredients

Scale

Vegetables

  • ½ Green Pepper, sliced
  • ½ Red Pepper, sliced
  • ½ Orange Pepper, sliced
  • ½ Yellow Pepper, sliced
  • 3 stalks of Celery, cut into pieces
  • 1 Cucumber, sliced
  • 1 8 oz package of White Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups Cauliflower florets
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 4 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 2 Baby Carrots
  • Romaine Lettuce Leaves
  • Olives (quantity as desired)

Cheeses

  • 1 wedge of Brie cheese
  • 1 wedge of Gouda with red wax
  • 1 8 oz block of Cheddar cheese

Dips & Extras

  • Veggie Dip (quantity as desired)
  • 1 cup of Guacamole
  • 1 bag of Blue Tortilla Chips
  • Sour cream (for decorating)
  • Black gel icing (for decorating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Vegetables: Wash and slice the green, red, orange, and yellow peppers into strips. Cut the celery stalks into bite-sized pieces. Slice the cucumber and mushrooms. Separate the cauliflower and broccoli into small florets. Wash the cherry tomatoes and baby carrots.
  2. Arrange the Skeleton Veggie Tray: On a large serving platter, lay down a bed of romaine lettuce leaves as the base. Arrange the celery, cauliflower, broccoli, peppers, cucumber, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and baby carrots to form the shape of a skeleton. Use celery or pepper strips for the arms and legs, cluster florets for the body, and slices for the hands and feet, creating a fun spooky skeleton outline. Use olives for eyes and other details if desired.
  3. Prepare the Cheese and Olive Platter: Slice the Brie, Gouda, and cheddar cheese into cubes or slices suitable for serving. Arrange the cheeses attractively on a separate serving board or dish. Decorate with black gel icing to draw Halloween motifs on the cheese rind and borders. Add olives around the cheeses to complement the platter.
  4. Assemble the Frankenstein Guacamole: Spread the guacamole into a compact oval shape on a serving plate to resemble Frankenstein’s head. Use sour cream to add facial details like eyes and scars. Position olives as eyes and use black gel icing to create stitches and hair details to bring the Frankenstein character to life.
  5. Serve: Place the blue tortilla chips around the guacamole Frankenstein for dipping. Provide veggie dip on the side near the skeleton veggie tray. Make sure all components are easily accessible for party guests to enjoy.
